Horseback Riding Lessons for Kids

Develop the fundamentals of horsemanship and put your new or fine-tuned skills to good use. We offer a comprehensive program for kids to get the foundation they need for a fun and successful future with horses, as well as a jump start on essential life skills. Our sequential program graduates skills from basic, to intermediate, and advanced. From safety, handling, tools, riding, and performance — to advanced skills such as horse training, showing, problem solving, and work applications. You do NOT need your own horse, however you may choose to bring your own. The Bar-A Ranch provides well-trained horses for all children to enjoy safely!
